It makes you question the way we see animals? Why do we lack the compassion? Why do we exploit animals for our gain?
Can we justify blinding a rabbit to test our cosmetics?
Can we justify enslaving elephants and dolphins to do trick and amuse us in circus and amusement parks?
Can we justify breeding 100s of dogs and minks in captivity to wear their fur as a fashion statement?
Do we feel the pangs of a mother cow as her child is led to slaughter?
Does force feeding a goose to the point of bleeding worth the ‘foie gras’ on our plate?
Think. Don’t blindly follow a tradition. Live consiciously. It will make difference to one animal that you saved from capital exploitation.
